VIVOTEK enhances safety with AI security solutions

VIVOTEK has announced that it has enhanced safety at KA Beveren Sports School, Belgium by upgrading and providing customised AI security solutions.

Recently, KA Beveren underwent an upgrade to its security infrastructure, aiming to improve the safety of students, staff and facilities with VIVOTEK playing a pivotal role in the project.

KA Beveren is a sports school located in Belgium, known for providing sports education and nurturing many student-athletes.

In collaboration with distributor Optima Networks and integrator Educorner bvba, the company helped KA Beveren implement a security system that offers monitoring and AI-driven analytics.

VIVOTEK partnered with Educorner bvba to implement customised solutions centred around advanced camera solutions which included fixed dome, fisheye and multi-sensor panoramic cameras as well as integration with Network Optix VMS.

• Fixed Dome Cameras – Were placed in key locations such as entry points, hallways and high-traffic areas, these cameras ensure robust monitoring of critical areas
• Fisheye Cameras – Were mounted at the corners of buildings, maximising coverage while minimising the number of cameras required
• Multi-Sensor Panoramic Cameras – Offers a 180-degree view and ideal for monitoring expansive outdoor areas such as sports fields and parking lots
• Built-in AI analytics – Enable real-time detection of unusual activities, further enhancing the system’s effectiveness
