Axis Communications welcomes new recruits for UK and Ireland

Axis Communications has announced several new appointments that coincide with the completion of a restructuring, bringing together key regions including the UK & Ireland, the Nordics and Eastern Europe.

The company highlights that the new appointments will focus on the UK & Ireland to ensure continued delivery of exceptional partner and customer support.

The company says that the new members Joining the Axis UK & Ireland team will be Simon Emmons as the Sales Manager for UK and Ireland and Justin Hawkesford as Manger of Sales Engineering and Training.

Axis says that in his role as Axis Sales Manager, UK & Ireland, Emmons will be exploring new opportunities not only within physical security but also for the purposes of business intelligence and operational efficiency using the video data drawn from network cameras.

According to the company, Emmons joins the team with a wealth of experience that he gained in director level channel positions.

Emmons has also managed extensive partnerships within specification sales programs across both multinational and local SME business.

Emmons commented on his appointment: “I am very much looking forward to joining the team at what is a critical and exciting time in the security industry.

“Through Axis deep industry expertise and innovative analytics, we will be looking to unlock solutions not previously possible with an initial focus on critical infrastructure and city, transport and traffic projects where there is huge potential to make a tangible difference,” he concluded.

Justin Hawkesford

Axis explains that Hawkesford brings over 20 years of experience in the security industry to the position of Sales Engineering & Training Manager for the UK and Ireland.

He will be supporting the Axis UK sales team to unlock opportunities not only in the traditional security market but also by exploring concepts outside the market such as operational efficiency and safety.

“More than just security”

Hawkesford commented: “Alongside my colleagues, I will be looking to provide end users and partners with insights into how Axis products can be used for more than just security.

“The focus will be helping to reinforce Axis position as the trusted advisors and voice of authority when it comes to video and audio solutions, particularly around how to leverage analytics and AI to monitor industrial processes,” he added.

With planning well underway for Axis industry-leading event OPEN London on 7^th October 2025, there have been a number of additions and changes in marketing, events and territory sales including:

• Natalie Bevins, Marketing Manager for UK and Ireland
• Darren Anderson, Territory Sales Manager
• Daniel John and Miranda Minns have both taken on new Territory Sales Manager roles within the business
