The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU is said to reinforce their cooperation in the fields of cybersecurity and standardisation.
ECSO and ETSI
ECSO and ETSI share the objective of contributing to the development of a secure and innovative global information infrastructure.
The agreement formalises a closer collaboration between the two organisations, building on their complementary expertise and roles in Europe’s digital and cybersecurity ecosystem.
ECSO and ETSI will Exchange information and expertise on topics of mutual interest in cybersecurity and ICT standardisation; collaborate through joint meetings, workshops and conferences; facilitate observer participation in relevant working groups and technical bodies to strengthen alignment and coordinate efforts in key areas and emerging fields.
The partnership aims to avoid duplication of work, promote interoperability and ensure that cybersecurity standardisation supports both European and international needs.
