Heald launches Matagate surface mount gate solution

Heald has confirmed the launch of the Matagate, a gate-led hostile vehicle mitigation system.

The new solution – an evolution of the company’s Matador bollards – offers all the advantages of a crash-tested Matador, now integrated with a gate which restricts vehicular and pedestrian access.

The Matagate offers surface-mount installation and is said to provide perimeter security for areas where retrofitting such measures might be a challenge.

The new gate solution from Heald requires no extensive excavation and delivers comparable impact protection without significant installation requirements.

Where shallow mount installation is possible, Heald’s architectural paving system can be utilised to offer integration with the surrounding landscape.

The gate utilises Heald’s Matador 3 or 4 system and is suitable for a variety of sectors.
